The Gray Where We Live

Normally my title ends with "between wrong and right" because that is how Mr. Hunter Hayes wrote the song but that part doesn't make sense if I'm using the lyric to describe my sick day. I took off of work because I felt awful and my body as demanding rest. I went to the doctor (physican's assistant) and she told me to take Mucinex and Sudafed. She was right. I felt better after taking that and finding some Panera but I didn't feel great and that is where the gray comes in.

I watched Divegent instead of working on treatment plans and played iPad games. I am now seeing double and my whole life lacks visual brightness as well physical brightness. Gray is a good descriptive word to describe how I feel and how my life has looked today.

Now to survive practicum tomorrow, update my groups wiki at some point, and hope to not have to work on Friday.

My Day Off

Before anyone tells me I take my job too seriously, I already know. I like my job and I try to do my best with it. I definitely get burnt out though so whenever I get a day off I'm very happy happy about it.

Knowing I had the day off, I stayed up until 4 something last night in order to organize the Hunter Hayes videos and to fight with my phone over the amount of space it had to spare for music I inteded to wake up today and do some of the ab challenge stuff as well as all of my laundry. Sadly,  none of this happened. Ab challenge has not gotten off to a good start and I am actually about to do an emergency load of laundry after I finsih this post. Instead my day was filled with twitter, kid movies, and MORE APARTMENT HUNTING.

I cataloged 45 out of 95 apartments before I threw my hands up in the air and gave up. If I can't find an apartment that I'm happy with in the first 45 then I'm just not meant to be a knight. I'm jumping the gun on this by 7 months but I just like to be prepared. It seems like I am going to end up paying upwards of 500 minimum for an apartment in Orlando unless I find someone who wants to go off-off campus to a real apartment. My brain is fried.

Back to Nothing

Yesterday I went back to work and today I went back to doing nothing. I was given today and tomorrow off from work and then next week will be a busy schedule again. I can't wait to go back for linger periods of time and to see all of my fellow  Cast Members.

I will also be working on finally getting my learner's permit and eventually my actual license. Yes, I know, the 21 year old not having her license is the most ridiculous thing ever. Well for one thing, I dis try when I was 16 but I failed the test. I'm also blind in one eye. I'll get it though. I need it if I want to get a second job.

In other news, I got to see Catherine today! We found her a dress for her brother's wedding and we got to watch the second installment of the Hobbit!

Magic Tom Hiddleston

After missing graduation pictures with my sorority because I overslept, I proceeded to sit in my bed and do absolutely nothing for five hours. Eventually Brandi and I made plans to keep her focused on studying. That worked for like an hour and then we went and got ice cream followed by watching "Magic Mike," attempting to replicate some of the dance moves, and then we watched like 45 minutes worth of Tom Hiddleston videos.

We are ending the night with a movie called "The 9th Gate" starring Johnny Depp which is about some Satan witch craft nonsense. Woo.

Working At It

Considering I didn't finish crafting until 1am and I didn't get home and fall asleep until 2am, I already knew that waking up this morning was going to be exceptionally difficult. My alarms started gng off at 645am and I didn't even hear them. The first alarm that I heard was the one that starts at 750 and I finally acknowledged it at 758. My ability to sleep is mind blowing sometimes.

I decided that I could skip my first class because A) we were watching a movie, B) I was exhausted, and C) my throat was killing me. So I went back to sleep expecting to wakeup feeling better for work. This was not the case. I woke up 20 minutes before work and I felt awful. My theory was still hurting, I couldn't breathe through my nose again p, and my whole body was aching. Needless to say I called out of work and spent the whole day resting, taking medicine, and fundraising for Dance Marathon.

What I'm working at is having less of these days. I really don't like missing things but I have felt awful these past few weeks more times than not. I want to feel normal. Normal would be nice. I am also working at raising the last 150 that I need for my DM goal and helping one of my sisters raise her 150 in order to dance!!

The Sweetest Thing

Wreck it Ralph - 2012

Considering tomorrow will consist of an intense GRE Prep session, gearing up for my final rush week, and a new Hunter Hayes single, I took today easy. I slept in (read until 1pm) and then went to the mall with my roommate in order to get my outfits for rush week to then come home and watch Paul Walker (RIP) and Vin Diesel destroy Rio in Fast Five. Basically I did nothing and in doing nothing I've worked up an appetite/desperate need for cupcakes. They are seriously all I've wanted since 2 o' clock this afternoon. It's ridiculous.  So after I'm finished with this post I will be venturing out to navigate the night bus system to get either ingredients to make cupcakes to buy pre made cupcakes. Cupcakes will be acquired some way or another.  While I'm at the store I may grab something to cook my chicken with for dinner. Baking cupcakes counts as learning how to cook right?
