Well That's Peachy

And I'll talk about it tomorrow.

.... or 4 days from then. This was a Saturday post and it was my second time closing all by my self. Saturday during the day was okay. I won hundred dollars from a store called Tatyana which is where I got my 50's style bathing suit from. That was really exciting because it means a new interview dress AND it means I get to get Catherine something as well! She LOVES that store and there is no way I am going to spend 100 dollars all by myself.

The day got even better when I found out about my G-Little getting twin Littles this semester! The legacy of multiples continues! I was so excited for her and for our line that I came running down the stairs to tell my real sister. She of course had no idea what I was talking about but I just had to fangirl with someone! I hope I get to meet them soon so that I can plan for GGBig presents >:]

The awesomeness of that day ended there. I walked into work ready to conquer the day and have a successful Saturday closing. This did not happen. Saturday is a busy day all by itself. For some reason it felt so much more busy because it was my night. I don't get stage fright much anymore but that is the closest way I can describe the feeling I had on Saturday. I ended up having closing issues and I had to call for help, which isn't the part that bothers me. The part that bothers me is the fact that the issue that I had put me over half an hour. UGHHHHHH.

I know this isn't what it is going to be like forever. I know that I will get better at everything over time. I just wish I could fast forward my learning curve and be better at it now.

Cupcakes and Memories

I MISSED CATHERINE SO MUCH AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER AGAIN SOON <3 <3

As you can probably guess, I was able to see Catherine today and we had fun adventures! First we went to get cupcakes at this quaint little cupcake shop called "Cupcake Cache" which is located next to Busch Gardens. This place is phenomenal. It's family owned but they have 63 different cupcake flavors and so far, Catherine and I haven't found one we don't like. I was able to get my peanut butter fix taken car of and I ordered the peanut butter cup cupcake which was a chocolate cake filled with peanut butter mousse and hazelnut filling, topped with peanut but buttercream, and garnished with a peanut butter cup. SO GOOOOODDDDD!!! Catherine tried the orange blossom (I think that is what it was called) which was an orange cake, with orange filling, orange icing, and topped with an chewy orange candy slice! She was very pleased with her purchase so I am sure we will be visiting the little  shop again! We also picked up real food from Jason's Deli before heading to Catherine's house and eating said lunch and cupcakes. The next three hours was spent catching up, drawing Disney scenes, and playing Mario Word!

The Storyline challenge for today is to reflect on a picture.

The picture I decided to reflect on is not a picture of me but of my mother and my sister's father. From what I am told, this was taken before my mother's 20th birthday which makes her younger in this picture than I am now. I posted this once before on Facebook and captioned it that we were twins. Eerily enough, we are. My chin and cheeks are little fuller and my nose has a tiny bit more definition towards the tip but other than that, we look identical in the face. I was never told that I looked like my mother when I was growing up. My sister, yes but not my mom. It is so weird for me to look at this picture because all I see is myself and that (in some backwards way) reminds me that she is always with me.

The Same Name

In the last three days I have had the pleasure of working with on of my old managers again and he was kind enough to ask me about my life and school. He even remembered how I used to joke about writing a book to tell my story and asked me if I had started writing yet. Of course I haven't but I did start this. This is kind of like my life story  right?

Anyway, today I met a little girl named Kaitlin spelled exactly the way I spell mine and we bonded over this. I helped her find some gifts for her little sister and then we bonded some more over our love of singing, dancing, and Rapunzel. We are the same person.

After work I got an Olaf doll for a sister and then I headed home to see if my sister was going to go to this block party thing she was invited to. I was invited to go out with Catherine and Alex and their friend Aaron but I was never sure if my sister was actually going to go to the party so I wasn't able to. It's okay though, hopefully I can go out with Catherine and Alex AND BRANDI to a place where you can ride a mechanical bull!
