Lose Track of My Lifelines, Lose Track of Myself

This week has been a week of early wake up calls which results in not a ton of sleep for someone who has night classes. That being said, I could learn to appreciate that routine if I could figure out how to fall asleep earlier. Anyway, today's work day was very long (9am-6pm) and resulted in three hours of playing the Sims in order to decompress (I MADE A KILLER WEDDING PROPERTY I AM SO PROUD).

I then got to talk with Peter, Kayla, and Harley who shared their support and checked on me. My co-workers Lindsey(I don't actually know how she spells it) and Lori also checked on me today just to make sure I was doing okay. The answer is I'm doing better with things/ at handling my life, but I'm not okay yet. Words cannot express what it means to me to have so many supportive humans. I am so incredibly grateful.

hmmm, Whatcha Say

It has been a pretty average day minus it being the real Valentine's Day. And the fact that I feel worse. I've been sick for like two weeks now and I'm just not sure what to do. Doctors are expensive!

Anyway, I should have gone to bed three hours ago seeing as tomorrow is the day from hel- I mean Monday. 5 AM. UGHHH. But, instead I played Sims (there is a really good quest right now guys) and made a spread sheet of apartments. We are going to pick from this list dangnabit. We have some exclusion criteria but in theory we would like a one bedroom apartment that allows pets, has a washer and dryer, and is in a neighborhood that isn't going to get us shot. So what do I do? I fall in love with a two bedroom house/apartment thing that is in an area known as Crime Hills. Go me guys, go me.

I'm just going to go cough myself to sleep now. Peace.

Wait. Forgot. Thanks again to my wonderful boyfriend who gave me such a nice early Valentine's Day night last night! It was so sweet and I loved it so much!

You Ain't Nothing But a Hound Dog, Crying All the Time

I wasted my day today and I feel kind of bad about that. I promised my self yesterday that I as going to clean my car, clean my room, and do laundry all day today, I did one load of laundry and barely picked up one corner of my room. What did I do instead? I rediscovered my Sims that I haven't played in a month and looked at apartments. I have no idea why I couldn't find motivation to get me out of my bed and into gear for cleaning but it just didn't happen. Tomorrow is a long day but maybe I can squeeze in some organization time after supervision. I have to start making this a priority or it is going to bite me in the ass later on. But hoooowwwwwwwwwww.

Today Was Basic

I'm pretty sure that this post's title is a repeat title but I am actually too tired to go investigate my posts. Because yesterday was so busy and because my day today started early, I am really tired. I opened at work and I felt confident in my opening which hasn't happened in a while. Then I came home and watched a disney movies with my nephew and then How the a Grinch Stole Christmas.

Also, the Santa challenge has started in my sims game which makes me happy.

Poor Sleep Desicions

I have been home for two hours after a pretty productive ( and busy) day but am I doing anything productive? Nope. I am alternative editing an essay (not mine but kind of productive) and playing the Sims. I have to be up at 8 and because I am a glutton for punishment I will probably not go to bed until 230. Why do I do this.

Second of Four

The great weekend off adventure continues! In this adventure and action packed filled episode I wake up at 2:30, do my make up (WHOA), go see Annabelle, and make a family tree for my Sims!

I was up until 3:30 yesterday because I was watching The Tribe and then I looked at the time and went "oh... I guess now is an appropriate time to sleep." I finally passed out to Top Gear and I slept fairly soundly until around noon. At noon the family got back from my nephew's walkathon and I just hoped that they would not wake me up to do something. Luckily, I was able to snooze for another two and half hours. When that time came I just watched a few more episode of The Tribe before calling my cousin and figuring out move plans.

Once that as all settled, I set off on the "lets do make up for the first time in a month" adventure which went okay. It wasn't anything extravagant but I am out of the routine so it took me longer than normal. We went to go see Annabelle with my sister. Dolls have always unnerved me a little bit. This is most likely due to the fact that my mother hoarded them when I was younger. The dolls had their own room but I didn't, that is how bad this was. I walked in to the movie expecting to leave some what frightened. I openly laughed multiple during that movie. There were some suspenseful parts and I did jump a few times but it wasn't scary. I wasn't really unnerved or scare at all.

When I got home, I tried on my grad school interview outfit which I think looks pretty good. Now I just have to fix the coat part as I found a small tear in the sleeves. I finished the day with the Sims and making a family tree for them, I'm so proud.

Losing My Voice

After spending two days at Amanda's house (I'll do a post about her significance one day) I had to go back to work at 10:00AM this morning. I'm used to Saturday morning shifts at my job so that was no big deal. What I am not used to is showing up at work with a line of 25 people outside waiting for Frozen merchandise.

You see, for the last four Saturdays, all of my stores have had to accommodate a line of parents and children alike as they wake up extremely early and wait for whatever product we might get from the movie. They also get up to put their names into an opportunity drawing to maybe be able to buy one dress. Chaos.

Well, I lost my voice in the midst of yelling instructions regarding the drawing and the morning's procedures to the ever growing group of people who were showing up before we opened. In all, I ended up communicating with around 75 people if you include those who brought friends and/or small children. After the morning's festivities were over, I continued to work and helped numerous guests throughout the store and at the box office. My voice just kept going and going until finally one guest approached me to buy two pairs of pajamas for his daughter and I could not talk at all.

The rest of my day was pretty lax. I went to lunch, sat at an interior design store while my sister haggled with some people, came home and played with my nephew a little, and then we had dinner.
Through out the day I have been continuing to work on my Sim's goals and preparing to lose them all. The last update not only brought horses but time limits on my Sims' lives. I have existed with my Sims for the last two years. Now, they only live around 75 days and I am actually dreading losing them.

Found A Unicorn

... and I have spent all of today working toward finishing the goal that it brought to my Sims game. If I finish this goal then I get to keep a unicorn!!! If you don't play the Sims, I don't blame you for thinking my obsession is really weird. If you do play, then you understand. Free. Unicorn.

This is literally all I did today and then Amanda came home from work, we watched two really awful movies and then we got cake.
