Hobbits Three Times

I am so bummed that I didn't take any pictures today! Oh well.

Anyway, today started early and dramatically. I was up at 6:50 to start getting ready for Friend Thursday with Catherine and Brandi which was tons of fun. Unfortunately, the morning plans were a little bumpy. You see, my brother in law was taking me out to Catherine's house on his way to work when his alternator decided to die so we had to change our plans and head to the autoshop instead. After acquiring a rental car and cleaning out his car, we were back on track and I managed to get to Catherine's around 9:40.

Once friend Thursday had begun it went pretty quickly. I did my makeup and then we went to the salon for Catherine to get her eyebrows done. We went home for a bit before grabbing Taco Son. We went inside the little place this time and it was super quaint and of course really yummy. I offered to bring Brandi some but unfortunately she didn't want Mexican food. We met up with her around 1 at the Brandon mall and we started to search for boots. This did not go very well but I did find a Frozen coloring book to use at work and I bought some Godiva biscuits. Today's title comes from adventures at Books A Million which is where I acquired the coloring book! We were looking at some behind the scenes books and found a Lord of the Rings one and we started saying "Hobbits!" over and over again and the team member on duty over heard us and joined in!

Eventually we went back to Catherine's where we had cookies, watched Amazing Spiderman 2, took Penny for a walk and found turtles, played a quick round of Just Dance 2014, and then Catherine made us dinner!


It was a good day and I'm glad that we got to hang out with Brandi before she goes back to Tally!

Festivities on Friday

Fridays are also for friends. I was able to see both Ilana and Amanda today and the sad part is that I actually forgot about it at one point and went to make plans with Alexis and then I remembered and I fail at life. Anyways, I got to go to the mall with Ilana and we went to see "22 Jump Street" which was definitely entertaining. Then we wondered around, bought some accessories, and eventually found our way to Charlotte Russe where we both purchased outfits. Loved seeing her today and can't wait to see her again before she leaves!!

Next up on the list was going to Amanda's house which is always chalk full of giggles and yelling. First we had to go to Walmart to find dinner and supplies for the work skit tomorrow. WE SPENT TWO HOURS LOOKING FOR AN IRON MAN MASK AND WE NEVER FOUND ONE AND IM JUST SO MAD.

Anyway, we finally found something that could work and then we came home and watched season 4 of "True Blood" and made dinner. I cooked the biscuits and the green beans. She cooked the rest.

Last Day Home

I spent my last day with family and friends. First the family and I went to lunch at this sandwich place which is always yummy. Then I was able to watch my two nephews run amuck in the play area at the mall where I work. After walking around with them for an hoy I met up with my friend Ilana and we proceeded to look for formal dresses to no avail.  We did however find chocolate an this adorable little clip on hat! 

When I got home I cuddled with the eldest nephew because he is a tad upset about me living for two more months. His brother soon surprised all by picking up a sippy cup of water and drinking out of it like he invented the act. This is a very big deal considering this three year old cant talk, chew, or feed him self. We are all very excited for his new found skill! 

Even though I know I'll be back before I know it, it is hard to think about being away agin. I don't want to leave. I want to be able to see the boys grow up and I want to be involved. Hmph. School is all most done!
