On the Road Again
And we're in Tampa! And we're babysitting!
And within the first 15 minutes of being in Tampa, Anderson threw up. It was a strange day. But we watched some movies and had some gold fish and it turned out okay. I got to spend some quality time with him and Holden. and then I got to help my sister look hella boss for an 80's party.

Busy Busy Busy
I guess being busy helps take your mind off of things. I've been up since much earlier than planned and running errands and babysitting for my sister. I've been able to squeeze in Sims of course which has paid off because I just leveled up! Today I also get a new update that brings magic to my town! IT'S LIKE GOING TO HOGWARTS GUYS!
I also got to help with some (really freaking nifty if I must say) Halloween party decorations. Sleep.

Scared of Emails
Every time my phone dings to let me know that I have an email I get really nervous. UCF said we had to wait two weeks for an admissions decision so I know I shouldn't be nervous, I just can't help it.
I spent the majority of the day trying to get everything to stop hurting from Thursday-Saturday's adventures. I played lots of Sims and I slept. Some friends called and I babysat. Then I got to make vegetable pot pie with homemade biscuits thanks to Catherine. The night ended with watching X-Men Days of Future Past.

So Many Stories
Have you ever gotten to the point where you're so hungry you aren't hungry anymore? Have you have gotten so tired you were awake? Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?
That is kind of what happened with today's blog post. I accumulated so many "I'm going to blog about this" moments today that I forgot a lot of them. The top three that I can remember I'm obviously going to write about but it just bothers me that I can't put my finger to all of them. Ugh, anyways...
Today started off fairly easy. I started waking myself up for work (without an alarm) at 6:30 because I was paranoid about being late. Finally got up at 10 to start getting ready and Amanda got me to the mall at 1130 where I ran around and picked things up for the skit that was supposed to start filming today but had to be pushed back to tomorrow. Work started and I was actually able to be the stage director for 30 minutes which was both nerve wracking and exciting so there's that.
After work ended, I collected all of the stuff that I originally brought for the skit and headed out when I noticed that I *was not * given a receipt for one of my purchases. At my store, that isn't really an issue. We can look through all the transactions and reprint a receipt if it is absolutely necessary or you know IF WE DON'T ISSUE ONE. So I went back into Claire's to talk to them about this and the girl that helped me earlier was still there so I talked to her about it and she called another associate over to help me. Mary was her name and she was a twit. "Without a receipt we can only issue a store credit or an exchange because we don't know how or if you paid for the items so we're not just going to issue money to anyone" were the first words out of her mouth before even listening to what I had to say. Before even asking what the situation was. I'm literally wearing my uniform from next door. I know how it works. I went on to explain the her that, while I don't think it was on purpose or intentional on Casey's behalf, I did not receive a receipt for my purchases earlier (6-21-14, between 11:30 and 11:55 totaling $31.80) and that Casey and I had even discussed that I might need to return one of the items if I found another substitute. No receipt. None. Nowhere to be found. Not in the bag and not handed to me. How is it my fault that your employee didn't issue me a receipt at the time of purchase and therefore made it IMPOSSIBLE for me to return anything?! In short, it isn't. I don't want credit at your store. NO. I want to be able to get my money back for the useless things you issued me. Kanbghkdfkjsdbkvdkfjkadfbg. I came home and called customer service because even if I can't get a full refund, I can sure as hell have Mary coached in proper customer service.
Also at home, I babysat. Big feat right? Well, my little nugget of a nephew decided that after his dinner her was just going to sit right next to me for three hours. He grabbed his blanket and crawled up in the chair to sit between the crook of my legs after turning himself into a little blanket burrito. He's so cute.

Dance All Day
I dance all the time. I probably could have pursued a path as a dancer or a cheerleader. I'm coordinated and I've got rhythm but I do not have neither the self-control when it comes to food nor do I have the ability to make myself practice as much as it would have taken. At being said, I still dance. Brandi and I made a dance from scratch (okay some of the moves were from sources other than my brain) to perform. I participate in dance marathon as well. Go us. We love to dance.
My mom liked to dance too and my sister was a dancer and a cheerleader up until she moved to a different state. Her son appears to have inherited this trait as well. You see, for a good two Horus today he and I stood in the kitchen and danced to the kids stations on Pandora. The videos I now possess of him breaking it down will be fantastic to show him 12 years from now.
It's beautiful

Last Day Home
I spent my last day with family and friends. First the family and I went to lunch at this sandwich place which is always yummy. Then I was able to watch my two nephews run amuck in the play area at the mall where I work. After walking around with them for an hoy I met up with my friend Ilana and we proceeded to look for formal dresses to no avail. We did however find chocolate an this adorable little clip on hat!
When I got home I cuddled with the eldest nephew because he is a tad upset about me living for two more months. His brother soon surprised all by picking up a sippy cup of water and drinking out of it like he invented the act. This is a very big deal considering this three year old cant talk, chew, or feed him self. We are all very excited for his new found skill!
Even though I know I'll be back before I know it, it is hard to think about being away agin. I don't want to leave. I want to be able to see the boys grow up and I want to be involved. Hmph. School is all most done!

Away From School
"Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to work we go" - the Seven Dwarves- Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
Today was the first day of my last undergraduate spring break. What did I do? I had a road trip back home with one of my sisters, cuddled with one of my nephews, went to work (WORK IS A MAGICAL PLACE WHERE YOU SING DISNEY SONGS ALL DAY) and now I'm home.
I already love spring break even though all I've done is work so far. While at work I made three people ridiculously happy and I got some awesome news that involves a one year pin and becoming a "regular" EEEKKKKKK THIS IS SO AWESOME !! In your best Rapunzel Voice: "THIS JA SO MUCH FUNNNNN!!! BEST DAY EVER!"

Ties that Bind
Leaving isn't an easy thing for me even though I am excited to go back to school. My heart breaks everytime I have to leave my nephews and tell them I'll be back soon. They are so little and all I can think about are all of the things I won't be there to see. I wasn't raised by my parents, I was raised by myself and my sibling. All I want to do is be a big part of my nephews' life the way their parents were a part of mine.
Leaving also reminds me of all the family members I don't get to spend a whole lot of time with every break. Aunts, cousins, my grandmother. The categories don't do the amount of people I failed to appropriately interact with justice. As I get older and pay more attention to my surroundings family becomes more and more important to me. While it hurts to leave then behind for another semester I have to remind myself that I am going back to anoter family at school. My roommates, sorority sisters, friends and coworkers make up my pseudo family while I am away. I'm going to try to look at it as though I am not leaving my family behind but rather seeing more of them.
