Dazed and Confused

Feel asleep at 9pm, woke up at 2 to get water. I will fill out everything tomorrow 

Now that I am able to update everything on here, Monday was a tiring day. I wasn't able to fall asleep until around 3:30 in the morning so waking up at 7 was not fun at all. Nevertheless, it was done. I made it to work which wasn't awful. One of the managers and I put up a window cling that made me wish I had my sisters patience for hanging things. After that it was Elsa dress frenzy time but it strangely didn't happen. Yes it picked up later in the day but most of the time when new Frozen merch pops up its like moths to a flame. 

Oh well.  After work I came home and went swimming in order to keep myself from napping. This however led to me falling asleep before Teen a wolf started and then put me behind in blogging, ugh.

A Day Repeated

I am used to having similar days, especially now that I am writing them down, but the similarities between today and yesterday are quite striking. My sleep schedule was the same, what time I woke up this morning was exactly the same, and what I did for the rest of my day was eerily similar as well. 

I called a cab (again) and the cab driver was nice, attentive, and interesting (again). I talk with a ton of people on a weekly basis and I hear a ton of different stories. These two cab drivers, while they did have different stories, spoke with me about the same things. They made the same impression. 

The day continued on with me getting to work early so that I could find food items and then going in to work which is pretty much always a similar experience. Afterword I sat at the same table and played the same game that I did yesterday. Once I was home, my nephew made me watch "Frozen" again and again I ended up putting him to bed. 

I feel like there is a glitch in the Matrix.

Losing My Voice

After spending two days at Amanda's house (I'll do a post about her significance one day) I had to go back to work at 10:00AM this morning. I'm used to Saturday morning shifts at my job so that was no big deal. What I am not used to is showing up at work with a line of 25 people outside waiting for Frozen merchandise. 

You see, for the last four Saturdays, all of my stores have had to accommodate a line of parents and children alike as they wake up extremely early and wait for whatever product we might get from the movie. They also get up to put their names into an opportunity drawing to maybe be able to buy one dress. Chaos. 

Well, I lost my voice in the midst of yelling instructions regarding the drawing and the morning's procedures to the ever growing group of people who were showing up before we opened. In all, I ended up communicating with around 75 people if you include those who brought friends and/or small children. After the morning's festivities were over, I continued to work and helped numerous guests throughout the store and at the box office. My voice just kept going and going until finally one guest approached me to buy two pairs of pajamas for his daughter and I could not talk at all. 

The rest of my day was pretty lax. I went to lunch, sat at an interior design store while my sister haggled with some people, came home and played with my nephew a little, and then we had dinner. 

Through out the day I have been continuing to work on my Sim's goals and preparing to lose them all. The last update not only brought horses but time limits on my Sims' lives. I have existed with my Sims for the last two years. Now, they only live around 75 days and I am actually dreading losing them.

Disney/Frozen Karaoke

Busy, busy day today!!! 

I finished drawing and started coloring in the rest of the birthday cards for the birthday party. Then I went to my internship to check on my kids and to an  assignment for the class portion of the practicum

THEN IT WAS DISNEY KARAOKE TIME WITH SOME SISTERS AND BRANDI!! I sand two songs and while I was really really REALLY nervous I did it successfully! I even got one of my sisters to get up there and sing!

A free screening of Frozen finished off the night. While I still don't like most of the songs, the movie as a whole is a little better. Go see it for the score and the animation. 

Sick. Sick. Sick.

I feel how she looks. If you don't know who she is, her name is Augra (og-rah) and she is from a lovely little movie called The Dark Crystal

The last time I felt this sick I was admitted to the hospital. That will be four years ago in April. Everything in my body hurts, I keep fluctuating between feeling like I'm in the Sahara before feeling like I've teleported to Antarctica, I generally feel gross/under the weather, and I have some sort of ear/nose/throat thing happening. Apparently Spring Break isn't in my favor. 

I know that my temperature spiked sometime last night around 2 because I never actually feel asleep. Instead I started ether lucid dreaming about or hallucinating being an Imagineer at Disney and being responsible for designing a new Frozen ride.This was encompassed with tossing, turning, randomly sitting up, moving my legs like a cricket, and talking to people I knew weren't in my room. No matter what I did, I was forced to redo the design ad each way I turned was a different design which meant a different part of my body started to hurt.

The last time this happened was Spring Break 2007. I had strep and I had just finished the 6th Harry Potter book. I hallucinated that Lord Voldemort and I (AKA Harry) were falling while holding hands and singing kumbyyah (HOW DO YOU SPELL THIS??). Then (pillow) Hermione tried to suffocate me with a pillow.

Anyway, when I finally pulled my self out of last night's dream state, I jumped in the shower to either cool my self off or to warm myself up (I can't remember honestly). I was able to sleep for two-ish hours after that until I had to get up and go to work. 

I think my description above is pretty accurate don't you think?
