Isn't it Ironic

You'd think I'd be able to stop taking naps on Mondays but that didn't happen and I fell asleep for three hours. On the flip side, Moes and group planning happened today. Woo

I Like the Way You Work It

I overslept and wasn't able to do more laundry before work. I went to work, bought some Tsums, and helped out a coworker. I'm suddenly so tired and hot. I don't want to go to prac tomorrow

Food: blueberry muffin, two slices of left over pizza, and then I went to Sonic and ordered a burger, tots, and a peanut butter milkshake because I hate myself.

I Slept In

I haven't slept passed 9:00am in about two weeks. That changed this morning when I ended up sleeping until 11:30. Then I woke up and messed with my hair some more. I have officially decided to chop more of it off because there is a section of it that just won't behave. It will grow back, it is just  hair.

After this trivial pursuit, I marathoner Law and Order SVU for three hours before work which was hectic. Back in the morning!

At That Time

So I got home from work around 6ish, ate a little bit of dinner, and then fell asleep at 7:30.

I admit to being completely out of routine when it comes to waking up and then going places at an early time. Waking up was really really really hard and I was completely exhausted by the time I got home. I guess I needed to go to bed early.

Good to Bad

This pattern of good day bad day good day bad day kinda needs to stop. Today consisted of sleep and cold medicine because I am sick. I dislike being sick. We've discussed this.

However, the day was not completely awful as Catherine brought me soup and snacks.

Dazed and Confused

Feel asleep at 9pm, woke up at 2 to get water. I will fill out everything tomorrow

Now that I am able to update everything on here, Monday was a tiring day. I wasn't able to fall asleep until around 3:30 in the morning so waking up at 7 was not fun at all. Nevertheless, it was done. I made it to work which wasn't awful. One of the managers and I put up a window cling that made me wish I had my sisters patience for hanging things. After that it was Elsa dress frenzy time but it strangely didn't happen. Yes it picked up later in the day but most of the time when new Frozen merch pops up its like moths to a flame.

Oh well.  After work I came home and went swimming in order to keep myself from napping. This however led to me falling asleep before Teen a wolf started and then put me behind in blogging, ugh.

The Next Day

I slept until 1 in the afternoon when I finally peeled my self out of my bed and got the rest of my eyeliner off.

The rest of the day consisted of Sims, laundry, and Teenage a mutant Ninja Turtle movies (not the new one) with my nephew.

And then my dog went swimming and was shivering when she came back in so I took my warm night shirts and wrapped her up :D

No More Nightengale

Aside from the fact that Amanda and I are a pack of crazies and went to Tallahassee for a grand total of 9 hours, I experienced some seriously odd things today. For one, she introduced me to this interesting (read: bizarre, odd, weird) podcast called "Welcome to Night Vale" which she was introduced to by her friend Joyska. They are thoroughly entertained by this venture but it and all its glorious weirdness was too much for my brain to handle on the car ride back home so it put me to sleep. Consistently.

My sleeping abilities are pretty impressive, I can sleep anywhere. But listening to that podcast is like being sedated for me. And it's not that it wasn't interesting, I'm just so overly tired that I couldn't focus on what was going on and the narrator's voice as Ceceil was like listening to a bedtime story.

We eventually made it home, the two of us exhausted. I went to the last ten minutes of my nephews birthday party and then we came home where I babysat and played Sims in order to keep myself awake until right now. Goodnight.

I Love Sleep

Really. It's fabulous. Starting this morning at 12:35am through today at 3:pm I was able to have a very nice visit with it. Now, I wasn't totally faithful to sleep.I originally did wake up at 10:30 because I was supposed to go have Suzy Tuesday with Catherine but upon waking up everything was a little off. I don't drink so I don't actually know what a hangover feels like but I imagine that what I felt like this morning comes pretty close. Dizziness, body aches, and a migraine were just wonderful friends to have over for a morning visit -__-

So I called Catherine and told her I couldn't come out to play today which made me sad. We were supposed to go do our nails so that her's were all pretty for her brother's wedding this weekend. Things happen though. Such is life. I know she will have a great time at the wedding and next week so when I see her in two Tuesdays. ALL THE STORIES.

Anyways, back to sleep. After I tried to feel better for like... 50 minutes I decided it was time to go back to visiting my good old friend sleep. Sleep must have appreciated this because I was granted with this really awesome dream where Hunter Hayes (DON'T ANY OF YOU JUDGE ME) and I were roommates and really good friends and hung out and went to school together and he would come kill bugs for me at 3 in the morning. It was awesome. And it was essentially my brain replacing my friend/roommate Brett Tyler with Hunter. Sorry Brett! Did I ever thank you for killing that bug?

The body aches did eventually go away around 4 which meant I had no excuse not to travel downstairs and watch last night's episode of Teen Wolf (I hate Malia.) and then work on uploading the video for work. It turned out really cute in my opinion. I hope we win!!

Finally Caving In

As you might have guessed, I caved. What did I cave on? My 113 days of being soda free. I have been debating giving myself a cheat day for a while but I have ALWAYS denied myself that luxury. I didn't want to drink the stuff. Today however, it was necessary. I haven't gotten more than six hours of sleep on any given night this past week. Between my final meetings with my sorority, the ceiling leaking, work, wanting to make it to all of my last classes, and my practicum PLUS all of the tests and assignments that happen the week before final's week, I haven't had the ability to be asleep by 12.

Last night I went to bed around 2:00 am and had to be up at 6:30 to be at my practicum site by 7:00. Thank you so much to the amazingly, WONDERFUL Brianna for letting me crash at her house and then waking up with me at an ungodly hour to drive me to my practicum. You're a beautiful human and I love you.

Today was technically my "last" day with my practicum students and in order to completely all my hours on time, I had to get to the site BEFORE IT OPENED. This is all because my evil practicum teacher (not affiliated with the site) refused to let me turn in my signed hours if my hours extended past 12 on April 25th. Word cannot describe how excited I am to NEVER have to deal with this woman ever again. Anyway, I spent ten and a half hours at my site. During this time I managed to get in an almost 2 hour long nap thanks to some really boring war movie that the staff decided to have them all watch. I was a little sad to see some of the kids leave today. It finally hit me that after next week, I won't be involved in their lives anymore. I won't get to ask them how everything was or sit with them and help them succeed in a subject. These kids need permanent guidance from someone and I was so privileged to have been that person for these last few months.

My day is not yet finished though. After my practicum I had to go straight to work where I have been and where I will stay until 2 in the morning. Woo.
